An eventful final day at the Quinn Insurance British Masters saw Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño defeat defending champion Lee Westwood after a thrilling play-off at The Belfry.

The Quinn Insurance British Masters

The Quinn Insurance British Masters, one of the highlights of the UK sporting calendar, returns to the world famous Brabazon Course at The Belfry from Thursday 25 September to Sunday 28 September, with morning and afternoon Pro-Ams on Wednesday 24 September.

There promises to be some sensational action as many of the world"s top golfers line up to battle it out at the Brabazon for the £1.8 prize fund and the coveted title currently held by Lee Westwood.

Approximate hours of play will be 7.30am - 7.00pm Thursday and Friday, and 7.30am - 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

  • 25th September - 1330hrs until 1800hrs on BBC 2
  • 26th September - 1330hrs until 1800hrs on BBC 2
  • 27th September - 1400hrs until 1630hrs on BBC 1 then 1630hrs until 1800hrs on BBC 2
  • 28th September - 1530hrs until 1800hrs on BBC 1
