Ladies Day Sponsored by Audemars Piquet
Ladies were invited to paint the town pink at the Quinn Insurance British Masters on Friday 26th September as the tournament tee’d off Ladies Day in style. The special day, sponsored by the prestigious watchmaker Audemars Piguet, took on a playful pink theme with plenty of fun, prizes and great golfing talent on show at the famous Belfry golf resort.Ladies Day Activities
Best Dressed Competition
The highlight of the festivities was the glamorous ‘Best Dressed’ competition, compered by charismatic BBC commentator Andrew Cotter. The judges were dazzled by many ladies dressed in pink to show their support for the official charities that Ladies Day and Pink Friday were benefiting – Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer? There was free champagne and nibbles for all entrants and Darren Clarke, together with a representative of Audemars Piguet awarded winners with exclusive prizes from event sponsors, Audemars Piguet.
First 50 Free + Free Prize Draw
The first fifty ladies through the gates were granted free entry to the tournament. In addition all ladies to pass through the gates were entered into a fabulous free prize draw to win a luxurious Belfry Spa day, six bottles of Moët and Chandon Pink Champagne plus a host of other girlie goodies.Free Golf Balls & Bag

Seniors Tour
Mature trees are removed with their root ball intact using a mechanical Tree Spade and replanted in a different location, improving the appearance and playability of the golf courses without environmental impact.

Pink Friday saw a rose tinted hue sweep the golf course too – all Quinn Insurance British Masters staff, marshals, media and even players were encouraged to wear pink or sport a pink ribbon in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Over £27,000 was raised in total and all proceeds from the special Ladies Day/Pink Friday initiatives were split equally between the charities.
