Clarke to add spark at Quinn Direct British Masters

Northern Irish favourite Darren Clarke will boost an already world-class field at the 2007 Quinn Direct British Masters.

Clarke looks forward to another Masters success

Clarke represents the essence of European golf, having been part of victorious Ryder Cup teams in 1997, 2002, 2004 and, memorably, in 2006 when he put in a superb emotionally charged performance to win each of his three matches at the K Club.

A regular at the Quinn Direct British Masters, Clarke claimed joint 11th place in last year’s event and is looking forward to returning to The Belfry and the legendary Brabazon course.

“My play has been slowly improving and when it’s time to head to The Belfry I’ll be ready to give it my best shot on one of the world’s most famous courses,” says Clarke. “I really hope to build on my performances there to achieve my best form yet on The Brabazon.”
