Tournament Village to Drive Fun and Charity Funds at The Quinn Direct Direct British Masters
Fancy testing some putting skills, taking a shot on a golf simulator or sampling a selection of foods from across the globe?
With the Quinn Direct British Masters just seven weeks away, all of this and much more will be on offer within the Tournament Tented Village at The Belfry this September.

Entertainment will be high on the agenda for all ages; EA Sports will create a fantastic games lounge with interactive games pods, while a 9 hole mini putting green will give people the opportunity to brush up on the game’s close up skills. A longest drive simulator will give people the chance to experience a virtual challenge of The Brabazon course and practise their swing.
In addition to all this, expert advice is on hand! There is set to be an inflatable driving range where 10 minute lessons with The Belfry’s team of PGA qualified Golf Professionals are available for both children and adults.
The electric atmosphere at The Belfry can be sampled daily from 19 - 23 September, with the Tented Village open from 10am - 5pm during the Pro-Am (on 19 September) and 8.30am - 6pm for the rest of tournament.
Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler, Managing Director of promoters International Sports Management said; “The tournament village completes the unique and special atmosphere created at The Belfry during the Quinn Direct British Masters. It ensures that there is something for everyone and I encourage everyone to explore all that’s on offer.”
The tournament will also be supporting the Five Stars scanner appeal, a charity seeking to raise £1,000,000 for a new MRI scanner at the Manchester Children’s hospital. Any funds raised from the activities mentioned will go towards the appeal, with further donations given by the tournament players for haircuts by the on-site hairdresser plus monies raised from the Taylormade charity competition for the Pro-Am players.
The prestigious tournament will be played from 20 – 23 September 2007, including a Pro-Am day on 19 September. Tickets can be booked by calling 0871 230 9809, www.ticketmaster.co.uk or www.quinndirectbritishmasters.com. Those wishing to pre-book season tickets will receive a fantastic 25% discount.
