2008 Prize Fund
A field of 144 European Tour professionals, including many of Europe’s leading golfers, competed in The Quinn Insurance British Masters from 25– 28 September 2008 (pro-am, 24 September 2008) at The Belfry for a prize fund of £1,800,000.
The event was played over four rounds of stroke-play with one round played on each day. There was a cut after the first two days, when the leading 65 players and those tying for 65th place, went forward to the third and fourth rounds.
